Step 3: Line Art

Here is where we see the final product begin to take shape. First, reduce the opacity of your sketch layer and create an additional layer for your line art. Simply draw over the sketch and pay attention to your use of line weight. Outlines will generally be thicker than your detail lines. Line weight may even differ in a single stroke to emphasize a certain element. Thicker lines can also be used to differentiate overlapping elements in space. Use the contrast of thick and thin to your advantage.
